COSOL is proud to share that one of the largest ERP implementations in the Southern Hemisphere, and a project we have been involved in for several years, is now live across Defence. Tranche 1B Main, including full implementation of SAP ERP S/4HANA, was delivered in partnership with the Australian Department of Defence and our partners.
This wasn’t just a system change. It was a whole-of-organisation transformation, creating one standard way of working across finance, procurement, engineering, maintenance, and logistics. At the heart of it is data - structured, accurate, and accessible - enabling better decisions, faster. And those who know COSOL, know we know data. But more than that, we know how to connect the dots and support incredibly large and complex data transformation project like this one. Hence, we were thrilled to participate.
This ERP program sets a new benchmark in how large, complex organisations can use digital asset management to drive real operational outcomes.
"Arguably, Defence Australia is now one of the most integrated and therefore most efficient military organisations in the world,”
- said Matt Glasner, Chief Operating Officer of COSOL
"What a moment...This is one of the most significant and complex programs I’ve ever seen, and it’s been delivered with integrity, grit, and outstanding professionalism.
Transformations like this are never linear. But through every twist, challenge, and tight deadline, our people showed up and delivered. That’s why clients continue to trust us - because we don’t just say we understand data. We prove it, year after year, by being the go-to Australian partner who turns up, delivers, and makes a lasting difference.”
- said Scott McGowan, Managing Director and CEO of COSOL
"It’s been an honour to work alongside such talented and committed people. You delivered through every challenge and earned the trust of a client whose work supports all Australians.”
- shared Pavel Duchac, Program Lead at COSOL
Being Australian-owned and operated, COSOL takes great pride in working with government at every level to modernise the systems and data foundation of how critical Australian services run, whether in defence, transport, infrastructure, or essential industries.
This milestone reinforces COSOL’s position as a trusted partner in the public sector of transformation and digital asset management - not only for today’s systems, but for the future our Australian communities will rely on.
Congratulations to everyone involved, and thank you to the Department of Defence for trusting us with such an important mission.
