COSOL’s specialist contractor has been a strong asset to the team, consistently demonstrating a proactive approach in his role as an Electrical planner/scheduler. He quickly adapted to our internal systems, processes, and expectations, integrating seamlessly with minimal onboarding. COSOL’s specialist contractor required little supervision and is able to work independently, which is particularly valuable in our highly reactive and fast-paced operational environment. His reliability, initiative, and ability to stay ahead of planning challenges make him a great fit for our team.
    Planning Superintendent
    Planning Superintendent
    Natural Resources
To be effective in his role, COSOL’s contractor needed to be organised, detail-focused, proactive, and calm under pressure – along with being a strong communicator and team player. He demonstrated all of these consistently. On the interpersonal side, he built good relationships across departments and with contractors. His approachable attitude and willingness to help made him easy to work with, and he always stayed professional, even in challenging situations. These behaviours made him a reliable and trusted part of the shutdown team.

COSOL’s specialist contractor has shown excellent initiative and professionalism in his role since joining our team. He adapted swiftly to our planning and scheduling frameworks and operates with a high degree of autonomy, consistently delivering quality outcomes. His ability to manage workload independently, while staying aligned with team goals, has been a significant benefit in our dynamic and reactive work setting. COSOL’s specialist contractor has proven to be a strong cultural fit and a dependable contributor to the team.
    Planning Superintendent
    Planning Superintendent
    Natural Resources
COSOL’s contractor regularly shows strong initiative in his role. He doesn’t wait to be told what to do – he sees what needs to happen and gets on with it. A good example was during a planning phase of a recent shutdown when there were gaps in the coordinators scope. Rather than letting it become a problem, he picked up on it early, followed up directly with the stakeholder, and helped get the scope clarified and properly loaded into the schedule.
    Superintendent Planning Asset Management
    Superintendent Planning Asset Management
    Natural Resources
COSOL’s specialist contractor has been instrumental to our Master Data uplift, delivering accurate, high-quality updates to tactics and PRTs with minimal oversight. He quickly understood the asset context, worked independently, and helped position us to hand over reliable documentation for LORAM’s onboarding. His support has been a key contributor during this critical transition.

COSOL has launched a new Digital Twin plugin for the IBM Maximo Application Suite (IBM MAS) that provides geospatial BIM viewing and 4D data integration. Developed in partnership with Nextspace and digital engineering experts DBM Vircon, the viewer and integration hub overcomes the scale and complexity limitations of existing IBM MAS plugin viewers. This new viewer plugin provides an integration hub for many new types of spatial data, from 2D and 3D CAD, BIM, GIS, point cloud and photogrammetry, and non-spatial or live (IoT) sources. Data, that until now, has been difficult or impossible to amalgamate using existing viewer plugin solutions. It offers dynamic visual styling for rapid identification of performance and condition issues of assets in IBM MAS, and in fact any attribute required such as budgeting, phasing, staging, data and risk, plus many other status or performance type attributes. All kinds of complex data can be merged at a geometry and data level into a single view with associated asset and work order data in IBM MAS connected to documentation stored in document management systems.
