Agriculture

Enterprise agriculture runs complex, high-value assets across multiple properties. Managing them well requires both asset management discipline and data you can trust.

The data is there. The problem is that nobody has connected it yet.

Enterprise agriculture has more data flowing through it than ever before - from farm management platforms, machinery diagnostics, financial systems, and IoT sensors across multiple properties. But in most operations, that data sits in separate systems, extracted manually, and never connected in a way that gives executives a reliable picture of performance, asset health, or true cost across the portfolio.

The agtech market has sold enterprise agriculture on the idea that more software solves this. It does not. More platforms without the integration, governance, and asset intelligence layer that makes them coherent creates more complexity, not less.

COSOL brings something others cannot - decades of asset management expertise, deep data capability, and a managed intelligence service that gets more valuable the longer we work together. We connect what already exists, govern it properly, and deliver the reliable operational picture that executives and farm managers need to make decisions they can stand behind - on capital, on maintenance, on compliance, and on the ESG obligations that are arriving faster than most operations are ready for.

The tensions team is managing every day

Corporate farming operations tell us the same story in different accents - too much data, not enough of it connected, and decisions being made on instinct when they should be made on fact. Does this sound familiar?
The Pressure The Conflict
Data Collection Multiple platforms capturing data vs. no single system connecting them into a usable picture
Decision Making Instinct-based farm management vs. data-driven performance optimisation across properties
Scale Managing individual farm performance vs. enterprise-wide visibility across a multi-property portfolio
Asset Management Maturity High-value machinery and infrastructure assets vs. immature maintenance and lifecycle strategies
ESG and Compliance Growing regulatory and supply chain reporting obligations vs. limited internal data and governance capability
Technology Adoption New precision agriculture tools generating valuable data vs. no capacity to extract and use it effectively
Capital Allocation Major investment decisions across large asset fleets vs. limited visibility of true lifecycle costs and returns

Conservis - Enterprise Farm Management, Australia and Global
Digital Asset Management | APAC

Conservis is a global farm management platform used by enterprise agriculture clients managing dozens of properties across multiple locations. Their largest clients needed a unified, consolidated view across all sites - not multiple dashboards, not manual reporting, and not data that could not be reconciled at the executive level. COSOL integrated data from 11 separate Conservis instances, cleaned it, and built a bespoke analytics platform covering agronomic metrics, financial performance, and ESG data - giving executives a single source of truth across their entire operation and opening the door to supply chain and sustainability reporting that was previously out of reach.
The result: Executives replaced multiple disconnected dashboards and labour-intensive manual reporting with a single, reliable operational picture - with the platform now actively supporting ESG compliance as regulatory requirements continue to tighten.

"At the executive level they don't want to deal with multiple dashboards and logins. They want a unified, consolidated and accurate view of their entire farm operations. This is outside of what Conservis can offer on a standalone basis. But we knew that this is exactly what COSOL was brilliant at doing."

Lawson Grains - Corporate Grain Farming, NSW and WA

Lawson Grains is Australia's leading corporate grain farmer, operating 10 aggregated properties across New South Wales and Western Australia and farming over 90,000 arable hectares. Their operational data was spread across Conservis, John Deere machinery systems, and financial platforms including Xero and Zahara - all managed separately, all extracted manually, and none of it connected in a way that gave the business a reliable picture of performance across the portfolio. COSOL integrated all data sources into a central cloud-hosted data warehouse, built automated reporting across farm management, machinery performance, and financial data, and removed the manual processes that were consuming significant time and creating data integrity risks across the operation.
The result: Highly manual and labour-intensive reporting processes have been eliminated, data from inputs, production, machinery efficiencies, labour, and outputs is now connected and accessible in real time, and both inventory management and month-end reconciliation have been made significantly more efficient across the portfolio.

"Working with Toustone | COSOL has been great. They have been able to effectively capture information off multiple platforms and automate it. The solution has definitely made the backend of the office more efficient by getting all that data into one spot. Their personal insight continues to provide different ways to look at the data and get more out of it."
